Marc Bourgne realized his first Comic Book at 9.
After 4 years studying History at the Sorbonne, he graduated in 1989 with a thesis on Alaska. The Great American North became the setting of his first series: “Etre Libre”, the story of two young heroes: Andy and Flo. The first books of this series are part of the collection: “Generation Dargaud”.
In 1998, Bourgne is asked by Dargaud Editions to work on one of the most mythical characters: BARBE ROUGE, with a scenario by Christian PERRISSIN.
The following year, he joined the collection “Bulle Noire”, on an invitation by Glenat Editions.
As he wanted to rediscover the pleasure of writing his own scripts, and of drawing Northern Landscapes, he created a new series: Frank Lincoln.
