FERRY

Fernand Van Vosselen aka Ferry was born in Beveren Waas, Belgium.
After a collaboration with the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, begun in 1970,
and a passage in the Belgian Pilot in 1973, he joined Tintin magazine in 1974.
He illustrated a set of courts stories based on incredible real stories, signed Yves Duval ,
grouped in 1984 by the Lombard editions in a collection entitled Les Grandses Catastrophes.
In 1977, on a screenplay by Jean-Luc Vernal, he created Ian Kal├ędine.
The fantastic adventures of this Russian aristocrat of the early twentieth century,
carried out in a classic realistic style, lasted ten episodes published in albums by Lombard editions between 1983 and 1992. From 1993,
Ferry focuses on the Chronicles Panchrysia, a new series of alchemy-based adventures in the Scottish highlands,
the only scenario of which is the first episode scenario. He is then joined by Pombal on the narrative part.
The Chronicles of Panchrysia have been published by Lombard since 1995.
