Christophe Bec spent the first months of his life in Morocco, because of his parents' work. Attracted to comics from early childhood, Bec began his comics career by producing some small fanzines and a first album published by a local publisher. His Esquisse fanzine was nominated for best fanzine at the comics festival in Angoulême in 1989. He joined the Comics School of Angoulême the same year. There, he met fellow artists, with whom he created the historical 'La Bête du Gévaudan' album. Soon afterwards, he began working for the publishing house Soleil. At Soleil, Bec began the 'Zéro Absolu' series, as well as 'Hôtel Particulier'. He started the 'Sanctuaire' series at Humanoïdes Associés with Xavier Dorison in 2001. The Issue 3 of this new series published in 2005 has became a best seller with more than 1 50 000 books sold…
