Luc WARNANT studied at t Saint-Luc institute, but he quit after only one year because he didn't like the amount of drawing classes. His first comic was published in SPIROU. Later, he became an assistant to André BECKERS and MITTEÏ. In the early eighties, WARNANT started his own series, 'T.O. Wang'. In the late eighties he created the successful series 'Soda' with Tome, but he discontinued work on the comic in the middle of the third story. Source: Lambiek
