René PETILLON self-taught artist  made illustrations for magazines like Planète, Plexus, L'Enragé, Week-End, Vingt Ans and Penthouse before he began a collaboration with the magazine pilote in 1972. From then on, Pétillon devoted himself completely to comics and produced a series of strips with 'Docteur Miracle'. In 1974, he created his series about detective 'Jack Palmer'. This became his most important character. 'Jack Palmer' was published in several magazines, including l'Echo des Savanes and Pilote." />
