Gallery Napoleon, a specialist on comic books

CHERET André

André Cheret was born in 1937 in Paris. This is where he discovered the Comic Strip, and among others, Tarzan and Durga Rani, queen of the jungle. In 1952, he began working for a printing company, and then turns into an advertising house for movie posters ... But it is in 1958, during his military service, he will begin his real career cartoonist where he collaborated with the military newspaper. Returning to civilian life, he joined Vaillant where he soon gives birth to Rahan, his most famous character for the new Pif Gadget. Rahan became the star of Pif Gadget. It will then write albums devoted to prehistory in Auzou. Later, everything starts with Pif Gadget. Then he signed with Novedi who will publish Rahan, until the resumption by Éditions Soleil Productions in 1992.
