MORCHOISNE Jean-Claude

Jean-Claude MORCHOISNE is a French caricaturist. He learned the finer points of the profession at the atelier Met De Penningheim in Paris, and began his professional career in 1965. He did cover illustrations for L'Express and Nouvel Obs, as well as the international magazines Esquire (USA), Der Stern and Der Spiegel (Germany).

In 1975, he launched the magazine Mormoil with Jacques Rampal, and among the contributors were Lucques, Binet, Loup and Loisel. In the 1980s, he focused on political caricatures and published several books with Editions Hors Collection. Since 2000, he makes a daily caricature for Les Echos.
