DELABY Philippe

Philippe Delaby started at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tournai at the age of fourteen. There he studied academic drawing .  His first artworks, treating historical stories  were published in  comic book Tintin in 1987: 'Richard Coeur de Lion,' 'Arthur au Royaume de l'Impossible' (scenarios by  Y. Duval), 'Bran' (scenario by Vernal) and the series 'L'étoile Polaire' (scenario by Delisse). In 1998, Philippe Delaby started a new impressive and successfull series, at the roman time of the emperor NERON (story: Jean Dufaux): Murena.
