Martin Sièvre (COELHO TEIXEIRA Eduardo)

Eduardo Teixeira Coelho, alias ETC, Etcheverry (ou Etcheveri) or Martin Sièvre was a portuguese comic book artist who notably worked in France with Vaillant and PIF Gadget magazines. Influenced by Harold Foster, Coelho specializes in historical comics. His main collaborator, all along his french career, is scenarist Jean Ollivier with whom he created Ragnar le Viking in 1955 in Vaillant magazine and continued Robin des Bois in Pif gadget from 1969. He also participates, from 1976, to the French History in comics series.
