LAMBIL WILLY

In 1972, following the untimely death of Louis Salvérius, Lambil becomes the designer of the series The Bluecoats, scripted by Raoul Cauvin. The Bluecoats receive a huge success: more than fifteen million copies sold at Dupuis! Virtually chained to the drawing board for forty years, it has long been one of the most productive designers of the weekly Spirou, realizing nearly one hundred boards per year. "Since I work at home, I am a lazy feel guilty. That's why I work every day. On Sunday, I make my corrections. The factory where I work, in fact, this is my house!

The Grand Prix Saint-Michel in 2006 was awarded to Willy Lambil, for all of his work.
