SANDRON JACQUES

Jacques SANDRON dron worked as a retoucher for the printing house of Dupuis since the age of 18. He presented his first story to the editors of the magazine Spirou in 1975. It was refused - but at least the experience put him into contact with Raoul Cauvin.

Together, they created 'Godaille et Godasse', a humorous series about a French soldier and his horse in the days of Napoleon. The series ran in the magazine Spirou from 1975 to 1984. Afterwards, Sandron and Cauvin came up with 'Raphaël et les Timbres', a series of gags about a postman, that appeared in Je Bouquine.
